After graduation
D-10 Job-seeking visa
D-10 lets you stay in Korea while looking for work after graduation. Once you have a job you change to the relevant employment visa.
Who this applies to
Graduates of Korean universities who do not yet have a job offer
What to know
- It bridges the gap between graduating and starting work.
- Job-seeking and internships are permitted.
- Once employment is confirmed you change status to E-7 or another employment visa.
- The period you may stay is capped. It is not an open-ended status.
Common questions
- Does KoAdmit find me a job?
- No. KoAdmit handles university admission and immigration matters during your studies. We do not place people in jobs. This page is here so you can understand your own path.
- Do I have to take D-10 after graduating?
- No. If your employment is confirmed before you graduate you can change directly to an employment visa without passing through D-10.
Take care
KoAdmit is not registered as a paid employment agency and does not place people in jobs. If a company offers to do so for you, check that it holds that registration.
